QR Code Link to This Post This is a show stopping, handmade, long skirt! Butterscotch colored linen with a 10" border of handstitched embroidered multi-colored ribbon flowers, all shapes and sizes. With an 8" wide panel of these embroidered flowers coming right up the front middle. There is around 50 hours of work in this skirt and the embroidery artwork.

Im posting this 1960s-early 70s, handmade, embroidered skirt here under antiques because it is an antique, and I consider it a piece of art.

I've had a clothing designer examine it and she is the expert who told me it's age, based on the design, the fabric, and the type of thread and ribbon used to make the flowers.

It's a small/medium but it's designed to be tailored, either smaller or large, for anyone. I would never be able to wear this skirt. I consider it a piece of art and think it should be framed and not worn, plus I don't think I'll ever be a small/medium again in my life!

I've never seen anything like this.

PLEASE NOTE: You may notice all the wrinkles. I'm not good at ironing and I'm afraid to iron it. I'm afraid of damaging it. ALSO, I made a YouTube video.
